About News in Education - Philadelphia Inquirer

News in Education is a cooperative effort of The Philadelphia Inquirer, working with local schools to encourage the use of the newspaper as a tool for instruction and to promote literacy.

Under the program, the Philadelphia Inquirer sponsors The Inquirer and Daily News for teachers to use in their classrooms. NIE teachers also receive curriculum ideas, teaching materials, special supplements, newsletters, training opportunities and more.
